Retired 2011, Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System. Currently volunteering with the Communities Improvement Association Mt Megs, AL providing community Diabetes Self-Management education virtually.

Lauran Cox, formerly Lauran Pope-Stephens, is a Nashville native and third generation graduate of TSU where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration in Economics and Finance. It was a great achievement for the Pope family as both Lauran and her mother graduated with undergraduate degrees on the same day.
Lauran enjoys spending time with family and is a novice food critic and at-home chef. She and her husband live in Montgomery and share 3 daughters.
